When dogs are born in the wild, they are born in a natural environment. Their mother and older pack members instinctively guide them to learn all the skills for survival. The dogs learn quickly to use those instincts to thrive and survive.
Dogs living with humans are living in an artificial environment. The artificial environment can create artificial problems. We see a range of behaviors including leash pulling, jumping, excessive barking, nipping, anxiety and aggression.

Puppy Basic Obedience Package
This training package is 4 in-home lessons that include the five basic obedience commands: Heel (walking), Sit, Stay, Come and Down. We will also provide documentation about potty-training.

This package is 6 in-home lessons that include the five basic obedience commands: Heel (walking), Sit, Stay, Come and Down. This package also includes off leash (home, yard) training. We will also provide documentation about potty-training.

Therapy Dog Training
Teach your dog to provide affection, comfort and support to people in settings such as hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools, libraries, hospices, or disaster areas. At our assessment, we will evaluate your dog to determine if his/her temperament is a good fit for Therapy Dog work.

Behavior Modification
This training provides dog owners with the ability to:
✔️ Correct all anti-social, dominant or aggressive behavior.
✔️ Change the household from dog dominant to human dominant.
✔️ Create a strong, trusting relationship with your dog(s).

Board-and-Train is an opportunity for your dog to stay at facility for 1-2 weeks depending on the training need and your schedule to receive daily training.

My name is Ben and my wife, Michelle, and I are originally from Maine. I joined the Army in 2005 and served on active duty as a helicopter pilot until 2017. We have had the opportunity to live in many desert cities across the southwest. We are so thankful that we have settled in Tucson, where I currently serve with the Arizona Army National Guard. My wife and I have 4 children together. We have always had dogs as part of our family. From Yorkies to our Irish Doodle, all our pets have been much loved family members.

My name is Kayla and originally I am from Surprise, AZ. I’ve had dogs all my life and enjoy being around them. I own two dogs and they’re my greatest joys in life. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility for 5 years where I worked with all types of dogs- from big to small, overly friendly to aggressive. Working as a trainer has been a welcome challenge for me. I love meeting new dogs as well as their owners.
