Marie’s journey began in the rural Hudson Valley of Upstate New York where her family enjoyed the companionship of a Doberman Pinscher at all times. Fast forward to 2008 during her time living in Dallas, TX…while researching her next best friend, she was immediately drawn to the intelligence, athleticism, loyalty, sensitivity and strong will of the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Her first Ridgeback, Wolfgang, ignited a passion for the breed and leadership-based training. 

Atlanta became Marie’s forever home in 2017. While she pursued her career as an operations leader, she nurtured her love of dogs as a pet sitter and volunteer at her local animal shelter, exposing her to a variety of breeds and personalities.

Marie wrapped her 17 year corporate career at the close of 2024 to pursue a more fulfilling and meaningful path. Her goal as a small business owner at Always Faithful Dogs of Northeast Atlanta is to teach humans and pets the skills necessary to live harmoniously, building on the joy of loving a canine family member.

Beyond her work with dogs, Marie enjoys travel, hiking with her pack, kayaking and collecting sea shells. She shares life’s adventures with her boyfriend Kevin, an Irish Golden named Lucy and Hank the Tank, a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
